first things first heres the equipment you will need to get to the abyss. you will need,

On your Second visit

With those items you will be able to get into and out of the abyss with every item. to get all the items check there respective area. once you have all of the items, go to ancient basin, where you will find an area that goes down to a massive door. it will only open if you have the kins brand, but once it does open you have the abilty to leave and enter the area at will. the door will lead to a massive drop, don't worry, you can't take fall damage. once you reach the bottom of the area you can go either left or right. left is the only to an spell uprade, so unless you have howling wraiths don't go. if you do then go the left and preform the spell on the platform to get the spell, abyss shriek. when moving right, when you reach a sea of void. climb up the light house and turn the light on, but be careful of the siblings, they deal 2 masks of damage. once you make it over the sea of void you will want to continue right, then go up and hop into the bowl of void and be proud, you have shade cloak now! on your way back if you go the bottom route with shade cloak, you will be able to get an arcane egg. with that, you can leave and come back later. which will be the case for the next charm you need, kingsoul.
